🛡️ How to Safely Charge Your Car Battery at Home
- Switch off the car ignition
Never connect a charger to a running vehicle.
- Connect Red (+) clamp first, then Black (–)
Match clamp to terminal colour. Secure both firmly before plugging in.
- Charge in a ventilated area only
Lead-acid batteries release small amounts of hydrogen gas. Use in an open garage or outdoors — never in a sealed room.
- Plug into 220V socket — watch the digital meter
The LCD shows live voltage and current. Charging begins automatically.
- Auto cut-off handles the rest
Charger stops at 14.6V — no monitoring needed. Safe to leave overnight.
- Unplug from wall first, then remove clamps
Always disconnect mains power before removing battery clamps.
