Turn the knob to set charging current up to 15A. Watch the live digital ammeter. As the battery charges, the current typically falls; use the battery manufacturer’s charging guidance to determine when charging is complete.

Slight warmth during charging is normal. Excessive heat means sulphated plates are wasting energy as heat instead of storing it.
A healthy 12V battery rests at 12.6–12.8V after a full charge. Persistent readings below 12.4V indicate capacity loss from sulphation.
Any 12V lead-acid battery — inverter, car, tractor, e-rickshaw — is affected by sulphation after 2–3 years without treatment. Periodic desulfation is used as preventive maintenance on batteries in regular service.

A regular charger is primarily designed for charging; it does not provide a dedicated desulfation/regeneration mode.
