Common Questions
Can this one charger work for both a 12V car battery and a 24V truck battery?
Yes — the front-panel selector switch toggles between 12V and 24V. Always set it before connecting the clips, never while attached. Use 12V for cars, motorcycles, and home inverters. Use 24V for trucks, buses, and tractors.
How long does it take to charge a 100Ah battery at 15A?
A fully discharged 100Ah battery takes approximately 7–8 hours at 15A. A 60Ah battery takes about 4–5 hours. Partial charges take proportionally less time. Watch the analog meter needle — near zero means nearly full.
What does the analog meter on this charger show?
The ammeter displays live charging current from 0 to 15A. A flat battery reads close to 15A when first connected. As the battery fills, the needle drops steadily toward zero — at that point the charger switches automatically to safe trickle maintenance. No manual intervention needed.
Is it safe to leave this battery charger connected overnight?
Yes. Once fully charged, the charger automatically reduces to a safe trickle current — no risk of overcharging. Safe to leave connected overnight or over the weekend in both 12V and 24V modes.
