What this 12 volt 15 amp battery charger does
The Samco 12V 15 Amp charger is a high-frequency SMPS charger with a variable current dial and a digital ammeter that shows live charging current in amps. You set the charging current to suit the battery, and the display shows what the battery is actually drawing rather than leaving you to guess from a timer.
A commonly used guideline is around 10% of battery capacity as the charging current, but the battery manufacturer's recommended charging current should always take priority.

Which batteries can I charge with this 12V 15A charger?
Compatible 12V lead-acid batteries including tubular, flat-plate, SMF and VRLA types, when operated within the battery manufacturer's charging specifications. It is a 12V charger and is not intended for 24V, 36V or 48V battery banks.
What current should I set on the dial?

What does the digital ammeter show?

How long does a 150Ah inverter battery take to charge?
Charging time depends on the battery's initial state of charge, its condition, the recommended charging current and the current taper. A 150Ah battery may require many hours to charge fully.
