How Long Does It Take to Charge?
At a 10A charging current, top-up time depends on how deeply the battery bank is discharged. As a rough guide, recharge time in hours ≈ the amp-hours you need to replace ÷ 10, plus a little for the final absorption stage.
- A 24V 100Ah bank that is 50% down needs about 50Ah → roughly 5–6 hours.
- A 24V 150Ah bank that is deeply discharged can take a full working shift.
- Two 12V batteries wired in series charge as one 24V bank on the same charger.
These are estimates. Actual time varies with battery age, temperature and state of charge.
