Common Questions
Can this charger work for both a 12V car and a 24V truck?
Yes. The front-panel selector switch changes the output between 12V and 24V. Always set it before connecting the clips — never while attached to the battery. Use 12V for cars, motorcycles, and home inverters. Use 24V for trucks, buses, and tractors.
How long to charge a 100Ah battery at 15A?
A fully discharged 100Ah battery takes approximately 7–8 hours at 15A. A 60Ah battery takes about 4–5 hours. If the battery is partially discharged the time is shorter. The analog meter needle near zero means nearly full.
What does the analog meter show?
The ammeter displays live charging current from 0 to 15A at all times. A flat battery reads close to 15A when first connected. As the battery fills the needle drops steadily toward zero — then the charger switches to safe trickle automatically. No manual action needed.
Is it safe to leave this charger connected overnight?
Yes. Once the battery is full, the charger automatically drops to a safe trickle current. There is no risk of overcharging. Safe overnight and over weekends in both 12V and 24V modes.
